508 Statement
The Rehabilitation Act was amended by Congress to require "federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities". Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), provides guidelines to help ensure that electronic and information technology can be used effectively by people with disabilities.
